Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson is a screenwriter and director who’s short film Rattlesnakes screened at the festival and received a number of awards at the prestigious Colombia University Film Festival where Hafsteinn studied. His first feature Á annan veg was a festival success, winning awards in several international film festival and has since been remade in the U.S. with the title Prince Avalanche starring Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch.
Margaret Glover has worked across theatre, film and television as script editor, writer and producer, in the US, UK, Europe and India. Her film credits as writer include Shadows in the Sun, which was awarded best screenplay at Houston Worldfest 2009 and Kisna for Indian director-producer Subhash Ghai. As execute producer she has overseen the development through delivery of close to 150 short films in her role as Senior Lecturer at the London Film School and several first features, most recently Blackbird, which was nominated for the Michael Powell Award and chosen for ‘Best of the Fest’ at the 2013 Edinburgh International Film Festival, and Falling Leaves, which will premiered at Montreal Film Festival.
